Source-to-Settle Consultants and Senior Consultants - REL

The demand for our services has opened some exciting opportunities for Sr. Consultants and Consultants with experience in the arena REL refers to as "Source-to-Settle". This encompasses areas such as; overall procurement strategy, total cost of ownership, sourcing strategies, vendor appraisal and approval, vendor negotiation, vendor rationalization, design of procurement organizations, payment term optimization and accounts payable processes and procedures including cash management. As a senior consultant, or consultant, you will play an active role on one of our diverse consulting teams by contributing to, or leading, a work-stream on a project.

Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth data analyses as required by project manager or client
  • Facilitate client interviews and workshops
  • Develop hypotheses and prove validity
  • Identify client "pain" and determine root cause
  • Demonstrate "expertise" in several of aforementioned areas by developing solutions that will reduce spend and/or improve cash flow (i.e. reduce supply base, leverage long term agreements, payment terms extension, streamline processes, strategy determination for varying spend portfolios/categories, etc.)
  • Communicate with all levels of client organization from buyers and A/P through upper management to achieve buy-in and influence change
Required Qualifications
  • BS/BA (Engineering, Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain)
  • 2-5 years experience in procurement in a large organization with proven accomplishments & quantifiable results
  • Ability to work cohesively in a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to travel weekly
  • Process improvement and change management experience/skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Facilitation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Desired Qualifications
  • MS/MBA
  • Multi-lingual
  • Experience with e-procurement /ERP system(s)
  • Exposure/understanding of financial statements, balance sheets, accounting practices
  • Experience with any continuous improvement methodologies (
